Many children in our community are left wondering where their next meal is going to come from - especially when they are not in school over the weekends.  Our children eat their last meal on Friday at lunch time and don't have another meal until breakfast on Monday at school.  LOL's Weekend Care Package program is there to help fill that gap by providing "care packages" with food for the children to eat over the weekend. 

1. Volunteer on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am.  Click on the Online Calendar link below for available time slots.

2. Decorate #6 or #8 sized bags from SAMS or the larger brown lunch sacks from Walmart, Target or your local grocery store and drop them off at the Rosenberg location (1416 Radio Lane, Rosenberg)

3. Donate food items that are used in the Weekend Care Packages (list to be added)

3. Sponsor a child for the school year -$1.75 feeds a child for one weekend.  $60 will feed a child every weekend for the entire school year.  LOL provides over 1,600 care packages every week.
